A special blog update just for you out there in the mysterious land of the interwebs.

2019 has been a magicinal year thus far (magic + medicinal = magicinal). I’ve left behind much of the darkness of 2018 and have found healing in my music. I’ve been writing a lot. Playing a lot. Singing a lot. Smiling a lot 🙂

 

Highlights thus far include :

• Making big progress on SONGS FOR BLEEDING HEARTS <3
• Finishing a music video (yet to be released)
• Being interviewed for 2SER’s Women Who Rock Podcast 
• Working on an exciting theatrical project (stay tuned…)
• Putting on amazing monthly shows for FOR FOLK SAKE (If you haven’t yet come to a show WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!?!)

I’ve played a tonne of solo gigs, conquering my fear of playing solo on stage.

• Wednesday 13th March – Folkswagon at Café Lounge Surry Hills – 7-10pm
• Wednesday 3rd April – The Dock, Redfern with Broke House
• Wednesday 17th April – Gasoline Pony with Elmo Reed on double bass
• Thursday April 24 – Supporting Allensworth at The Vanguard
• Saturday 27th April – For Folk Sake at 107 Redfern
• Saturday 4th May – Finders Keepers Markets, Barangaroo
• Friday 24th May – with Mysterious Universe at Red Bar, Glebe
• Sunday 2nd June – Dangar Island Bowling Club, with Broke House

Wow bullet point lists really make you feel accomplished.

I have some super exciting appearances coming up and I’d love to see you. Next week I’m supporting the Irish myth, the legend, the woman herself `Aine Tyrell at The Vanguard which I’m very excited about. In July I’ll be honouring the late great Jesse Younan and raising money for The Leukemia Foundation and there are many more shows in the works in NSW, VIC, SA and possibly QLD.
